Fickle winds

Light winds come and go-the
sun is out and gannets and fulmars are wheeling around. Its beautiful in an empty way, and I am slowly getting used to it. 764 miles to rendezvous in Iceland with Trevor-I have told him its slow going.Who knows what the next couple of weeks will bring. Its great to have set out though-the worry fades and its more-just get on with it mode-a lot easier. I get mental ups and downs-usually related to how well the boat is sailing in light winds-not bad really. It forces out your philosophical side. Food is important-am looking after myself-and now refining the work rest balance-its easier to rest as the sea is empty of boats comparatively-though one called me up on the radio at 4am today and I found an Irish patrol naval vessel parked off my stern-wanting to check me out! Bye for now. Steve XX
