Hello everyone
Another day and still not a drop of wind you couldn't make this up in the middle of the ocean the sea is so flat that we can see ourselves in the reflection.

We still have plenty of fuel and making good speed and direction for Maderia.

Shortly after sending the last blog just before we settled down for our evening entertainment, a buoy was spotted off to port, with no wind and nothing to do we decided to head over and see what is was. All different eventualities were going through our head, if it was just a buoy we would pick it up, never one to miss out on a freebie obviously, was it a pot that had drifted out to see and was filled with tasty seafood (a bit far fetched) or was it attached to the bottom of the ocean by a 4000 metre length of chain! Think of the scrap value of that! (even more far fetched i know). It turned out to be just a buoy but with a long trail thick of muscles which made it near on impossible to get out the water. But our real pot of gold was yet to come, as we passed the buoy and headed back on to course the reel started whining away and we thought we had hooked the buoy, but as we got further away we realised it was not, "It can't be a fish its not fighting" but as I went to grab my camera for whatever it might be I soon knew it was a fish from the whaling noises coming from Tim's mouth!! We got the beast on board and it weighed in at 8lb, not too bad at all!!!

A special shout out for the first person to identify the species. (photo attached)
