Good Evening,
Dolphins, again.
Both Sails are down now and we are motoring as
there is literally NO WIND!! Hopefully tomorrow we can turn it off and sail
towards Spain.
The fishing rods have been out since 10 am this
morning but not a single bite other than seagulls diving for the lures, no
matter what we put on the end of the line or the size of the hook, there is just
no interest.
We have gone off the continental shelf so now in
waters of 4500 metres.
Even though we did watches as usual last night (2
hours on, 4 hours off between 10pm and 10 am) no one has had any naps
during the day today and no one is feeling grotty which is great.
I beat Angus at Scrabble fair and square the normal
way without using any funny little 2 letter cheat words (or foreign languages)
that I know some people like to use. Then I also thrashed both Angus and Tim at
Rummy, so all in all a good day for me!
I kneaded my first loaf today and Tim admitted it
was better than his, so can't be half bad! Chicken Curry that was made yesterday
is for dinner, so that will be full of flavour, but hopefully not too
hot :-)
Other than the above a pretty quiet day.
A Nautical Limerick:
There was a young sailor named Bates
Who danced the fandango on skates.
He fell on his cutlass
Which rendered him nutless
And practically useless on dates!
