Hi There
we finally got under way from Maldon yesterday at
1600hrs not without hiccups as some work I had done on the rigging didn't work
as expected and I had to up pop rivet a bracket at the top of the mast, all
sorted now.We had a good sail across the Thames estuary dodging the menagerie of
wind farms along the way.
By first light we were off Dover and currently
beating out from Beachy head in a rough direction to Cherbourg ,we will tack
shortly making for Weymouth tomorrow.
The boats going well especially our Monitor
windvane once we got the hand of setting it up.
We have lots of cake aboard which is keeping us
going, not sure what's for tea tonight but probably spag bol to start as we mean
to carry on, oh yes the new fridge is really performing well and seems to be
using a less power than the last one.WSS Force 4.
Next instalment tomorrow
