Good Evening,
A lethargic feel on board for us today, the winds
have continued much the same and we are now 109 miles from our waypoint at
Lanzarote.
We had some action with one of our new lures on the
fishing front, we had another bite early but it got away, mid afternoon we
caught some attention from some seaguls and one actually got caught for a while
I was actually able to reel it in while it flapped in the water but eventually
got free with our tackle and lure all fortunately still in tact. Later this
afternoon we had a firm catch, another Dorado! The estimated weigh in
at 5 1/2 lbs this one. It responded well to the shot of vodka and was in
the fridge in no time.
This has put pizza on hold once again as tonight we
will be enjoying the fresh catch with some rice and fresh
vegetables.
Tims' threatening to make a chocolate
fudge cake tomorrow, but there have been no objections, no surprise
there! We saw one ship a short while ago which has been
the only vessel sighted since leaving port, we suspected it had come from South
America and was headed for Europe.
On the reading front Andy McNab has stopped being
tortured, Phileas Fogg has nearly made Japan and I have summarised yet another
horrific short story to Tim and Angus about murdurous acts of vengence always
with a sweet ending!
We hope the weather is as lovely with you as it
continues to be with us, this time tomorrow we will be anchored the of the coast
of Lanzarote, enjoing a swim and maybe some pizza!
All the Best
