Day 3 out of Bermuda and we seem to have a problem
with the altenator not charging the batteries. Fortunately we have the wind
generator and a solar panel but in the light winds they are only providing
sufficient energy for the basic essentials. Consequently I will be unable to
access emails everyday and we are hand steering, sailing the traditional
way!
Everything has settled down to a routine and as we
are doubling up on watches a lot of the day is spent sleeping. The blogs may
become less frequent because of the battery situation but all else is well and
there is no problem with GPS at
present. |
