sky, and good conditions for about 6 hours. Then wind went to 25-30 kts,
current 2 kts, seas 8 ft, 45 deg F, with main and staysail, doing 12 kts
over ground and 9+kts through the water...we were taking waves into the
cockpit...the helmsmen were trenched! We put into Alderney at 5pm, and
immediately opened a Guiness! Later a great time ashore with the locals!
