10 June Neiafu 

Great lunch at the floating fish and chip bar in Neiafu Harbour - possibly the best Fish n’ chips ever.  Absolutely delicious.  And we waved goodbye to Jessica and Alastair SC on the beach as Patrick and I set off for our 300 NM passage to Fiji.  Good watch system for the two of us which was 3 hours on during the night and 4 hours on during the day.  We saw a pod of whales - pilot whales we thought - which was exciting.  Fiji immigration is very exacting and we had to clear out a lot of our stores - anything with pork in it is prohibited and honey is strictly banned along with any fresh produce which hasn’t originated in NZ, Australia or the US.
