We set off again from the fabulous San Blas to Shelter Bay in Panama. It was not a particularly nice sail over - lumpy sea and cross-wind. We left around 5 in the evening and sailed through the night. We didn’t want to arrive in Shelter Bay until daylight so we had to dawdle a bit under reefed Genoa and no main. It was quite amazing though arriving at dawn at the entrance to the Panama Canal - beginning to see the giant ships waiting in the roads.
