We Caught A Fish!!

On our wonderful journey from Porto to Madeira we put out the hand reel fishing line with a new orange squid lure bought in Vigo. With zero hope of success we ignored the line for most of the day until Patrick spotted a gull diving into the water behind the
boat. It was after our fish and with huge excitement we reeled it in. It was a mini-tuna - perfect size for our first catch for Nusquama. Tom did the filleting and we ended up with two beautiful fillets which we cooked ceviche style in lime juice and grated
fresh ginger.
So delicious. We are now travelling with industrial quantities of lime and ginger in the hope that we catch another.
Thank goodness it wasn’t any bigger.
