My adventure is nearly over and all being well early tomorrow I will turn to port at Berry Head and enter Brixham marina which I left on the 5th October 2117. During the course of this adventure I have meet new people and I would like to dedicate this my final blog to those people. Also to those ardent followers of my blog (both of them) which I hope has kept you entertained and informed.

Now this is important…..many people have said they would like to be there when I arrive. Due to the timings this might not be possible and I will not feel the slightest disappointed if you are unable to be there. Lyn and the boys will be at Brixham the whole weekend so if you are down that way please pop in for a cup of tea (or something stronger). Wandering Star will be on pontoon C8. Give me a bell (mob 07712107435) so that I can be sure to be there. Alternatively let's plan a days sailing over the coming weeks…now that would be fantastic.

Timings….its about 115 miles to go and I expect to do 100 miles a day, its 5.30 ut now as I write this which is 6.30am uk time, so I would expect to get into Brixham around 8.30am to 9.30am tomorrow morning but the winds might freshen in which case it will be earlier, they might take longer to pick up which might make me later…sorry

So honestly I really don’t want people standing around in the drizzle waiting for me….however, Brixham is a lovely place so there are plenty of places for a coffee.

I will sign off for now….
