I'm in good spirits this morning.
Not quite as much progress over night as I had hoped, but should make it up today.
Woke up early with the sun (about 4am) lovely breeze 18-20 knots (my wind speed and wind direction indicator hasn’t worked since Antigua, so I’ve reverted to Beaufort scale) fresh breeze Beaufort scale 5.
It was one of those moments I wanted to capture and bottle and save. Wandering Star beautifully balanced and I can only imagine a picture of her from above and as the camera pans out thousands of miles from anywhere in open sea, with her single passenger. The sea a light blue, little if any swell, white crests, the sky lighter blue still and endless. The sun a lovely orange, and a spectacle for my eyes only, I wish I could share it.
I'm in whale territory. I'm keeping my eye out for a distant spout and to be honest the more distant the better.
