Very quick update:

All going well at the moment all systems seem to be working ok, wind at moment ok and I’m doing over 5 knots. Distance to go about 450 miles.

The dilemma I've got is that, the humdinger of a weather system coming in from the west has dropped south a bit, enough to provide a very uncomfortable ride on Wednesday night if I don't change my course. So I’ve altered my course to 080 and established a new Way Point at 48N 7W. This is further south than I would have wanted when entering the Channel and takes me about 60 miles off Brest, but I don’t really see at this stage I have an option. If the storm reverts back north then I can change course back again.

This is my main concern at the moment, plus I’m getting very poor signal for iridium sat phone which I can’t work out if it's an iridium satellite issue or my phone but the signal seems very intermittent and weak (a bit like my brain) strangely looking at it now it seems ok again.

All for now
Ben
