I had a problem with my hearing yesterday. I was quite deaf for much of the day. It was down to the noise of the engine in the cabin. Each morning I run the engine for 30-45 minutes to charge batteries and just make sure the engine is ok, but it makes quite a racket particularly in the cabin so I normally find early morning jobs to do on deck when running the engine. Yesterday I remained in the cabin doing some jobs and chart work. That’s what caused my deafness the engine. Well not the engine but the cotton wool I put in my ears. I forgot that it was there until about 3 o’clock in the afternoon when a piece fell out. Hearing returned to normal.
Good progress yesterday 120 miles
