Well that’s days one over, I measure my days from 10am to 10am the next day at which point I take my daily log. To date I’ve completed 7607 miles since leaving Brixham in October. The first few days are the worst but its great that this is a relatively short leg approx 1400 miles which compares with 3400 from Canaries to Antigua.

I've down loaded George Orwell collection of audio books as well as Winston Churchil's history of the 2nd world war.

Yesterday I caught up with the Archers - all 4 hours of catch up!

On the system side all seems good and I’m pleased I replaced the domestic batteries at Horta as well as replacing reefing line and fixing wind speed and direction indicator. I've enough fuel to motor 500 miles if necessary and water for 30 days.

Lots of dolphins yesterday.
