18:03.982N 63:05.904W Have been in Marigot Bay for almost a week now getting parts and jobs done. It would appear that the rainy season is upon us, as at the Weekend the dinghy had 8 inches of rain water in it! We have rain everyday since. Had intended to do a trip around the island today but it was canceled because of the rain. It is however very nice being in the French side for a change, rather like stepping into a French town. Needless to say we’ve pigged out on their bread and pastries. We’ve met up with our boatie friends and again overdone the eating and drinking, which seems to start earlier and earlier - must be the heat! Tomorrow we leave for Antigua as the boat is being hauled out there for the hurricane season and next week we will be in sunny old Cardiff - can’t wait!!
