15:45.726N 41:57.102W Well on the fishing front, Captain Col caught the largest fish of his life so far, it was a Sailfish about 1.5m long. It put up a good fight. We managed to reel it in to the back of the boat but as we attempted to lift the fish onto the deck the line snapped and off he went with the lucky lure.  The winds have died and we could be in the Doldrums making very slow progress, crawling along at 3.5kn which is very frustrating as we were looking forward to celebrating the half way mark. I suppose that will have to wait until tomorrow.  We have been watching out for squalls but they are mostly to the north of us. Spoke too soon just as we thought we’d miss them, we got caught with a beauty. Strong winds and heavy rain hit us so quickly that it took all of us to get the sails down fast. Anyway it gave us the speed we were so desperate for and the rain has helped clear the humidity.
