38:28.328N 14:57.296E We have been sailing around the Aeolian Islands. The volcanoes are all huffing and puffing and smelling of rotten eggs. It's a bit scary. We thought we had come to deserted islands but the place is full of sailing boats and fast ferries which come at you from every which way. The area is beautiful and we just wish we had longer to do them justice. One thing we did discover was the wine for this area was started by a Scotsman named James Stevenson, our family name and obviously our great Uncle Jimmy!!! There are monuments to him all over the place. we must Google it sometime as he may have left us a vineyard in his will!!!
