On Sunday, 28th May, we ended our day in Simi, Greece with a delightful meal on the quayside. This is one of our favourite spots and we'll certainly come again.
The short trip back into Turkish waters was very pleasant, motor sailing with the headsail only. We had decided to go and check out some of the Turkish coast in preparation for the family coming out in July. After getting settled into Marti Marina, Hisaronu Korfezi, we had lunch ashore with a little libation and then the heavens opened, like it was the monsoon season. As a result we were hunkered down with a glass or two of wine. In the dingy was almost full to the top with water and it was a devilish job to get it emptied.

Yalikavak, 31st May, the sail north was uneventful with the wind, what wind there was, right on the nose, so again we motored. The boat is due for a big clean up having been out at sea for almost 3 weeks and we're on the case. Plus there are always things to get fixed. Boats never seem to have everything working at one time. We're off the opinion that it's built in to the design, just to keep people in employment!
A further set of friends a looking to join us soon so we're not looking to go out again until we hear from them.
