16:00.194N 045:43.721W Middle of the South of the North Atlantic 28th November; Sea state – flat calm; Wind – 0 /5 knots; Wind direction – from wherever it fancies; Boat speed – 0.7kts (thanks to a current}; Air temp - 32+ degrees C. The forecast indicates  it could be like this until 4th December and we have still just under 900 nautical miles to go. Dont bother doing the maths!!!! Fortunately we have plenty of provisions and watermaker thus far is working well. The skipper is struggling with the dry boat policy which could have lead to mutiny if it had been kept up. A fellow rallier stated that he has been overtaken by a dead fish which was faster than him. It’s going to be a very long night!
