38:22.158N 22:04.557E We left the port of Delphi (Itea) a little later than usual after seeing Derek off on his bus to Athens. The conditions were flat calm with very light winds on the nose as usual, which was the forecast. We were looking forward to a long boring day with the engines on.  But were we in for a big surprise? A few miles out, the wind strengthened and got up to 42mph, still on the nose. The seas whipped up and were very, very confused, braking all over the place. In these conditions we didn't consider for a moment trying to reach our original destination, so we we turned into a little bolt hole on the tiny island of Trizonia. Thoroughly exhausted, we finished the day with our fellow boaties in a traditional Greek taverna by the calm waterside in the sheltered bay having great Greek food and of course Greek wine. In 7 hours we had travelled 22NM and with the sea conditions going full circle.
