After the joy of rounding Ushant we have settled into our ship-board routine with each of us taking a 4 hour watch during the day and a 3 hour watch at night.     The weather continues to treat us well with the wind  a  reasonably constant force 4 from the north west though at times it backs a little so sail trimming is  fairly regular duty to keep Serendipity speeding south.  One noticeable change this morning is that the air temperature has gone up and I'm wearing 1 layer less than previous days.  It's a good omen but the downside is that the warm air carries water so this morning visibility was patchy. Thank you radar and thank you AIS for doing your job  and showing us where the big boys are.

Our course of 230 degrees sets us straight across the mighty Bay of Biscay towards Cape Finisterre across a stretch of ocean more than 4 kilometres deep.  It's Blue Water sailing but the water is still grey.

My turn on watch. Have a nice Sunday.
