Wednesday 2 November  Praia, Ihla Santiago – following  the arrival of William, our last victim 14 54.7N  23 30.3W

Just a note to say William did arrive safely on Monday night – rather more than can be said for his baggage.  William survived his  peripatetic journey  via Lisbon  and Gran Canaria but that  was too much for his baggage which got lost  en route.

The airline – TACV – promise that they will be here tonight…….  Meanwhile, we explore Praia – with very long tongs!

Had the couple on the only other occupied yacht in the anchorage for a drink last night.  They were  French and claimed that we were the first English people we had met in the 18 months they had been away from France via Senegal and the Gambia – there’s a reason for that.
