Hi All,

This is my first blog contribution so don’t expect me to be too bolt!?  However, the main reason for taking up the baton is because revenge can be sweet! After being portrait as the shopper from hell and having my cold broadcasted in the most unflattering manner,  I thought it would be time to fight back.

Today was a great day, but it will also bring the end to our stay at Iles de Pines, before setting off to the Loyalties tomorrow.

The morning was quite sedate, although David and Peter were out to impress by taking the auto-helm to bits, admire it, and then put it back together again? Admittedly some cleaning took place. Personally I thought doing the laundry had greater effect and made Everyone happy!

After lunch Peter took himself off for a walk to the top of the island. David, Richard, Terry and I went snorkelling (funny that, I got offered a lift in a dingy by Laissez Faire). Snorkelling was exceptional.  An abundance of fishes, plenty of coral with the occasional ray of sunshine adding to the experience.

Now on to Richard. You simply cannot fault his enthusiasm in anything he does. He also tries to multitask, like a woman. So there he is, wearing a sarong and in  the water he goes! But it has to be said that his enthusiasm was influenced by trying to please the skipper: bringing up the ladder and at the same time grabbing the painter for skipper to come back on board. Richard himself laughed the loudest! Good on him.

I will await the effects of my first blog and learn.

Love to you all, Lenie x
