1                     Yesterday, when Bob visited the magasin he ordered and paid for some bread to be collected this morning.  Collection is no easy undertaking, leaving Peter standing off in the dinghy while he traipsed the kilometre or so to the shop; this was made more  painful by the fact that it was raining, and by the fact when he got there they had forgotten and there was no bread for Bob – OR for Serendipity. Chiz.

2                     On a positive note, on the way back a local man with a young child called him over and offered Bob fruit – more pamplemousse than he could carry - on the basis that if Bob didn’t eat it, it would rot on the tree.

3                     Thinking about anchoring, last night the holding was good in thick mud. While we were close enough to the rocks we didn’t move.  We draw 2.7 metres and anchored in 8 metres. If you  were happy to anchor in say 5 metres, you could anchor further in – by the day mark perhaps – and there would be potentially less swell and a bit more swinging room.

Finally – just caught a sensible sized Tuna for dinner.
