Presently in Pinney's Bay, Charlestown on Nevis (pronounced neevis). After the devastation of Montserrat, it is nice to see a quiet, friendly and well cared for island.

We had a surreal "full Sunday roast lunch" yesterday, sitting on the beach in a very rustic eatery, watching the boat at anchor, and the pelicans dive bombing the shoals of fish; very entertaining!

Surprisingly, although still very warm, (obviously), we have had quite a lot of showers, and yesterday was quite generally cloudy for long periods. We only mention this because we know folks get riled at the mention of constant good weather here in the Caribbean, whilst in UK it is somewhat inclement.

Probably hop up to St Kitts tomorrow, and then to St Martin, where we hope to get a few boat bits and stock up for our trip to the BVIs. St Martin is supposed to be quite a sophisticated island, so we may well feel out of place!
