We are presently in English harbour Antigua, tied up in Nelson's Dockyard: It is the oldest Georgian working dock in the world (according to the blurb). That said it has real character, stepping from the boat onto granite harbour, manicured grass behind, and the old buildings as a backdrop, really is charming. We were in need of a bit of stable parking, after weeks at anchor, in rolly anchorages, sailing up from St Lucia. We have passed along from Dominica to Guadeloupe since the last blog, but the tropical pictures are probably getting monotonous so they are excluded. The transatlantic rowing race finished here over the last few weeks, they row (or float) for months in tiny boats, they are definitely mad! The yacht next to us was a support boat for the crossing, and he was at sea for 79 days .............. only 50 more than us!
