We managed to gate crash the fishermans sardine party, while looking for the
town party (which did not exist), and they would not let us leave. Lots of
drinking, eating, dancing, fire jumping etc. (all normal at these events).
We learnt how to eat sardines "properly", and make the local fire water
liqueur: The secret recipe may be passed on with sufficient inducement.
The size of their bbq grill does leave one feeling inadequate; see photo.
These folks were so friendly and welcoming, we have now completely revised
our view of Spanish fishermen, and when they don't wave at sea in future we
will not complain.
