Ok so its been a week before moving 40 odd nautical miles: We would love to
say that is because we were "chilling" drinking pinacoladas, but it was as
you well know because of the weather! We set off today with little wind as
we undocked (fortunately, as very tight), and it then blew up and rained as
we were trying to hoist the mainsail: At this point the plan looked flawed.
Anywhichway we finally got through the worst of it (3 hours) and managed a
very good sail for the rest of the trip.
We are now in the Ria da Muros which seems very pleasant, but we will report
on that later.
The photographic wonders for your entertainment today are:
The joys of hot summer sailing
The joys of wet summer sailing (draining shoes)
The boat actually sailing
A view of Cabo Finisterre
Another view of Cabo Finisterre; note big wave (swell)
