Oh joy! Anguilla a quiet anchorage, few cars, few and polite people: Such a change from Sint Maarten, which we really did not like. That said Anguilla has gone in for some very up-market developments, and the beaches are so white they were voted best in the world by an American travel magazine.

As we write however, we are bobbling on a buoy ("Ladder Bay") at Saba (saybah). We cannot go ashore at the moment, as the island has steep-to volanic cone edges with no beach, and there is too much surf to land the dinghy. This is annoying Christine, as there are over 800 steps, begging to be climbed, up the cliffs, to get to the little village, which she had hoped to exercise the troops to: So instead she is making bread!

No pictures as we are deprived of WIFI, so satellite get ready.
