Just a few pics from our mid passage fishing excitement. While this shows a successful hunt I have to confess it was the second fish of the day but the only one we managed to hold on to. During the morning we had managed to get a big wahoo on to the deck before loosing it again through the safety rails. As you can imagine this caused a degree of despondency on board but fortunately "Paul the prawn" (the great little lure that Stu brought along with him) managed to attract the second decent fish of the day and this time there was no letting it slip away!

Stupot hauling the fish in. It took off at one hell of a pace and had most of the line off the reel by the time we managed to slow the boat down and stop him.

Gotcha! The small man with his hands on the big prize.

Two very happy fishermen looking forward to a fresh fish supper.

But first.....some fresh fresh fresh sashimi. Ocean to plate with just enough time to find the soya sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi from the depths of the fridge.

With Lucy acting as cameraman during the fish fun here is a pic showing she is still on board. We hadn't managed to buy a Mauritian flag in Indonesia so here is Lucy busy converting our Ecuadorian flag into a Mauritian flag by adding a green stripe to it!
