We are back in gorgeous Grenada and enjoying it as much as the first time!  It seems to have fully recovered from the ravages of Hurricane's Ivan and Emily in 2004 and 2005.  It is such a friendly island and we are having a great time having met lots of cruisers and caught up with some old friends from last time who live on the island.  Here are some photos of what we have been up to, hope you enjoy them. We plan to head on towards Bonaire in the next few weeks but I may have to physically drag Lucy away from here just the same as I had to last time.

Dinner in a house!  Bret and Fran who we met here in Grenada 4 years ago
have also just arrived back and have moved ashore for a while.

Friday night is "Fish Fry" night in Gouyave, Grenada's "fishing capital".
A couple of streets are closed off and stalls serve fantastic fish specialties (and rum!)
along with of course the inevitable ear-splitting reggae.

We saw this goat making his way home after the Fish Fry!

We were invited to an "Oil Down" in a local village.   This involves cooking a spectacular amount
of food in a single huge pot.  The guy below is in the process of grating 16 coconuts
to go into the pot.

Tasting time!

A photo for Naunton!  Lucy with a bottle of one of the spectacularly powerful rums
brewed on the island.  We are not entirely sure this stuff is really made for drinking!

Jamie checking that supper is coming along nicely.

Two happy bar ladies.
