So the the second night at sea turned out to be a lumpy one ! I wouldn’t say the sea was rough, but the wind was up in the high teens, the swell had increased and was hitting us at an uncomfortable angle. To say no one slept well would be a bit of an understatement! And to top it off there was a man overboard incident in the bay of Alicante which we heard on the radio. The bosun was not happy!! However by four in the morning it was starting to get more comfortable and by nine o’clock it had turned into a calmer lovely day. By midday we were nearing Formentera, as we approached our anchorage the log read 1664, like the beer, do you think it was a sign ?!
