Well here on Moose the crew are all learning their rope work with whipping today, knots yesterday and exam on Monday on all topics learnt.. results will follow.

 

And down to the important items, Fishing. Much improvement here as we had a good start with two mahi mahi however just under the size allowance for keeping, another younger mahi this afternoon however the big but unfortunate story was with our Atlantic sail fish. Tony’s big fight was cut short as something attempted to steal the fish with a big hit to its side leaving a new hole and killing it, big shame as we would have been catching and releasing this amazing creature.

a little excitement as well today with some rig maintenance, re-running lines and getting everything back in place after a few bumpy days sailing.
