The day started with an awesome sunrise, Then following a misunderstanding with the changing clocks and which time zone we were actually in, we waited with sextants ready for the "noon sight" an hour later and a fabulous lunch consumed, local noon finally arrived only for the sun to disappear behind a cloud ! Regardless of the challenges, the sighting that Guy achieved placed us reassuringly in position. Then some afternoon delight with Portuguese cheeses and chutneys.
