An old deckhand in the Exumas once told me there is a big difference between “Fishing” and “Catching”! So after Moose’s 9,000 Miles with just one small Mahi Mahi and half a dozen Solent Mackerel, it appears what we have been doing is definitely FISHING ! So in an effort to improve this position, yesterday evening we attended Tino’s Lure making masterclass. It was a delightful moment with crew from neighbouring yachts and even a couple of very cute kids.

You can see that Tino has a somewhat cool appearance but what makes it even better is that he sounds just like Claude the scuba instructor from the movie “Along came Poly” !

So armed with my new knowledge, I now just have to pluck some feathers off a dead seagull and get to work modifying our existing Lures, looks like I am going to be busy.
