We had another great day yesterday 7 knots in the
right direction with clear blue sky, however the clouds arrived overnight and
the wind dropped so we're now motoring on. We should still arrive in
Sotogrande on Friday although perhaps a bit later than we thought (we forgot to
take into account that Spain and Kantara are running on different
times).
The drop in the wind has flattened the boat out and
made working down below significantly easier, so the woodwork has been polished
the toilets have been cleaned and the decks have been scrubbed and Kantara will
be a very shiny boat by the time she arrives in Sotogrande.
Cooking on board continues to wow, we had smoked
salmon for lunch and tuna bolognaise for dinner using some fresh tuna fillets,
Andy rated the tuna bolognaise as restaurant quality and suggested Joe has
found his calling.
