Hello all. Wind has picked up to 12 knots Had a
great nights sail with winds up to 14knots and great surf pushing us along. We
are now approx 270 miles from Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. There was some great
phosphoresence around the boat last night. It looked as though someone had
sprinkled fairly lights on the water .. After a good nigt we all enjoyed a
hearty breakfast of egg, beans mushrooms tomatoes and bacon washed down with lots
of lovey hot coffee. Just after breakfast we hooked a BIG fish (Tuna or Dorado
we think ). Pete saw it jumping but alas it got away. We think we may have a
mouse on board as we found the remains of a packet of chocolATE ( SORRY CANT
FIND THE CAPITALS LOCK kEY ! ) CHIP COOKIES IN THE SWEETIE CUPBOARD , ONLY THE
PACKAGING AND SOME CRUMBS LEFT..??
WE ARE BACK FISHING AGAIN NOW HOPING FOR SOME
LUCK OTHERWISE ITS POTATO AND LENTIL CURRY FOR DINNER TONIGHT . JUST NOW
WE HAD A POD OF ABOUT 20 DOLPHNS COME AND PLAY WITH THE BOAT, PLAYING AT THE BOW
AND SHOWING OF THEIR ACROBATIC SKILLS. I'LL TRY AND SEND SOME SMALL VIDEOCLIPS
WITH THE NEXT BLOG.
