Kantara's new ace international crew of Claire, Malcolm, Ian and Andy have had a relaxing few days in Antigua and have fully provisioned for a return journey from Antigua to the Azores. We are carrying significantly less Spanish sausage, veg, canopes and exotic ingredients than we had on the outward leg but have plenty of manchego cheese and 9 tins of vegetarian ravioli.

Wind forecasts are looking a little more encouraging with easterly 15knot breezes scheduled for the next few days which should enable us to make good progress North to pick-up more reliable easterly winds.

We are planning on a last shower and full breakfast early tomorrow and after topping up with diesel around 8am will be heading out to sea. We are all quite keen to get going and can't way to say goodbye to the irritating mozzies.
