We are now in Huahine. I had the outboard serviced by Yamaha and then we left Tahiti. Only problem is that I didn’t test the engine before we left (assuming that Yamaha could service the engine properly) and now it doesn’t work.
It’s nice here and there are a few more resources (a supermarket and some bars and restaurants!) than on some of the other islands so we’re going to stay here for a few days. We’re then heading for Raiatea where I hope I will be able to find somewhere to get the outboard repaired properly.
