Viridian has been lifted!

Brian and I were up early this morning to take Viridian round to Flamenco Marina where she was scheduled to be lifted. Because there are 5m tides around here at the moment there are constraints on when there is sufficient depth for us to reach the travel lift so we had to be there for 07:15 with a lift at 07:45.
At 07:15 we were outside the marina but there didn’t seem to be very much action and we were asked to wait. My heart sank and I feared that that might have meant 07:45 Panamanian time, however at 07:40 on the dot we were asked to enter the marina and we went directly to the lift.
The haul out went flawlessly - there was even a diver there to check that the lifting strops were positioned correctly, and we were soon in our slot with the supporting posts in place and the cleaning and sanding scheduled for later in that day.
