We came here yesterday. There was hardly any wind so we had to motor all the way. It got very foggy in the middle of the channel and we couldn't see any of the big ships. Fortunately they showed up on the AIS so we knew where they were. One passed a mile away and we still couldn't see it although we could hear it's foghorn.
When we got to Portland harbour there were hundreds of the biggest jellyfish I've ever seen. They are magnificent and the water is so clear you can easily see them.
I've spent the morning doing the laundry while John cleaned the boat. The marina is so big that one round trip from the boat to the shower block and laundry is 0.7 miles according to my UP and I've done it 4 times already!
