We left the anchorage at midnight in very little wind and motor sailed with just the jib. Once day came it was hot and sunny with hardly any wind. We had another go at raising the cruising chute and got everything right - hooray! We sailed with it up for about an hour but then the wind died and we had to motor the rest of the way. We ran into thick fog and were really thankful for the AIS as we could see on that where other boats were. We also had the radar on. Once we arrived the fog lifted and the sun came out. We arrived at 8am local time on Friday.
From our berth we can see the old town in the distance which looks very picturesque. There are loads of cruise liners coming and going.
Yesterday was a getting sorted day and we went to the local supermarket which is brilliant - far better than any we've seen so far. Also judging by the cars Estonia seems very prosperous. We are hoping to do some exploring today, there's a crew dinner tonight and we are having a guided tour tomorrow.
