Hooray! We have escaped from Falmouth at last. We had some excitement as we left: our getting out of the beth plan needed the bow thruster to get the bow through the wind but when John pressed the button it didn't work and we ended up at the top of the aisle. Quick phone call to Rustler and they had fitted the wrong fuse which had blown. Eventually we left in 25 knots of wind and managed to sail out of the harbour. It was in the wrong direction as usual but we were happy to tack as we weren't going far. However it dropped completely and we had to motor the rest of the way. Of course it's really windy again now.
We picked up a buoy - got it first time too. We will stay a couple of days.
