After relentless strong winds for days we thought today was a bit better so set off hoping to sail to Douarnenez. However when we were out of the shelter it was still a bit too strong for our liking so we turned round and sailed in sheltered water to Brest. We had a good, if short, sail with a couple of reefs in and will explore Best tomorrow. Sunday's forecast is looking promising so may move on then.
Had a great walk yesterday round the cliffs at Camaret - wonderful scenery and very pretty wild flowers. There were also some of those strange stones called menhirs a bit like a mini Stonehenge.
