We came here from Dartmouth yesterday. There was hardly any wind so we motor sailed all the way. It was very foggy at times and we were very pleased at how well the radar and AIS worked.
Weymouth is a lovely place. The harbour is right in the centre of town and there is a lovely big sandy beach. We had a really good meal last night with a scallop, prawn and lobster thermidor for our main course.
The plan is to stay while the next low and associated strong winds passes through. Evidently it is the round the island race on saturday so will probably move on into the Solent on Sunday.
