We left Kalmar on Wednesday and travelled overnight arriving here at about 10pm. It ranked highly as one of our worst ever journeys - strong winds right on the nose, rough seas with the boat slamming into the waves and water in the cockpit and a spectacular thunderstorm. It seemed never-ending but eventually we got here and it is a very nice little harbour. We have another free day tomorrow, then on Sunday a trip to Copenhagen followed by the farewell crew dinner and the end of the rally. Lots of boats have already left but there are still about 14 so there will be plenty of people. After that we all make our own ways home. The weather forecast for the beginning of next week sounds awful so I think we will be here for a while. It will be good to have a few days to recover without having to rush on to somewhere new and I think the area around here is nice so we will have time to explore.
