We had our first fruit de mer in Boulogne which was delicious and also moules frites. Tuesday was a washout, rained all day and Wednesday morning was really windy so we waited until the evening and came here overnight. It went very well with far fewer fishing boats than expected though it was very cold.
It is nice and sunny here. We've caught up on some sleep and are going out for a meal later. Will spend tomorrow here sightseeing and decide where to go next.
Some of the boats here are the same as in Boulogne so I expect we will keep seeing the same ones while we are on the French coast
