Unfortunately "breakages" takes the headline slot today, as Slipstream no longer has a functioning computer.  Until our Fab Five can remedy the situation, Slipstream cannot send or receive e-mails and the blog will now be transcribed by the wonderful wives back home via a very expensive satellite phone; they will be brief (and very possibly nautically inaccurate)!

Despite the loss of the computer, safety is not compromised and morale is reported as good.  They have now sailed over 1,000 miles.  The weather is great, apart from a slightly awkward northerly swell.  There has been radio contact with several other boats close by, who have also been experiencing computer problems.

The dolphins have been providing stunning displays, and the flying fish continue to land on the boat (although sadly their relatives also continue to avoid the clearly inappropriately-named lure).  Tapas and slightly flaccid fruit remain the dish of the day.
