Having turned the corner of Brazil, we were sailing in steady trade winds from behind us
We arrived at Ilha Dos Lencois against the backdrop of enormous sand dunes
The village is built on the sandy beach
A fishing boat comes back with his catch …
Laying nets off the beach for fish and prawns
… some of which we bought
They were vast …
… and delicious marinaded and cooked in olive oil, lemon juice and garlic
